Our frost fans offer a coverage area of 1 to 9 hectares per fan.
We offer a frost risk analysis which includes mapping out the positions of each fan and the related coverage.
The fans may be driven via 3-phase power from the grid, or via a generator.
Our fans have an optional hydraulic pivoting mast which simplifies installation and minimises the impact on the surrounding environment. Heavy-lifting equipment is not required.
Our fans are currently being used to protect table grapes, wine grapes, avocados, various citrus fruit (oranges, lemons, tangerines), pomegranates, gooseberries, pecan nuts, and other high value crops.
Our RF-based control system links each fan to a Homebase via a Fan Control Unit. Up to 50 fans may be linked to a single Homebase.
Our system uses a cloud-based monitoring system which is accessible from any internet enabled device. All key functions are shown on a dashboard and data is available in real time. Historical data may also be exported.
As a general standard, we offer a 2-year mechanical warranty and a 1-year warranty on electrical components, however, some parts come with a warranty period of 3 years. Click here for more detailed info.
